Peter Stoger keeps most of the same eleven who started in Dortmund’s 1-0 win over Hannover. The only change is in defence, with Manuel Akanji replacing Omer Toprak who picked up a groin injury before the international break.
Jupp Heynckes makes six changes from the side that lost 2-1 to RB Leipzig before the international break. Rafinha and Jerome Boateng are brought into the right side of defence to replace Joshua Kimmich and Niklas Sule respectively. In midfield, James Rodriguez remains but Sebastian Rudy and Arturo Vidal make way for Javi Martinez and Arjen Robben-with the inclusion of the Dutchman pushing Thomas Muller into a midfield role. In attack, Robert Lewandowski and Franck Ribery are preferred to Sandro Wagner and Juan Bernat.

The Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi Danbaba has boasted that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will win 10 northern states in the 2019 general elections. Danbaba was among the lawmakers who recently dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the PDP at the National Assembly. Speaking to select journalists in Sokoto on Sunday, the senator said he did not regret dumping the APC on whose platform he became Senator because they were not being carried along. Explaining further, he stated that he left the party because of lack of equity, justice and fairness to all members. “The APC-led federal government has derailed from its mandate and failed to meet the yearnings of Nigerians,” he added.
